Karen Arnold, M.A.
Karen Arnold has over twenty years senior leadership experience in all aspects of Human Resource. She has developed and led an organizational development and training department, and has extensive experience in workforce/succession planning, change management, team building, and strategic planning. She was employed as a Human Resource Director for 15 years at Blue Shield of California.
Karen holds a Masters of Arts in Management and a Bachelors of Arts in Human Resources. Karen is an adjunct professor at California State University, Sacramento in the College of Continuing Education and at the University of San Francisco.
Karen is a partner in FutureDecisions, a company that provides cutting edge workforce/succession planning programs, training, and transition services.
Karen is a board member of JOBONE, a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen the economic health of El Dorado County. She is a board member of the Golden Sierra Workforce Investment Board and a member of the Sacramento/Metro Chamber Education and Workforce Committee. She is a member of the leadership team for the Sacramento Area Organizational Development Network and is president-elect for the Sacramento Chapter of the National Association of Business Women Owners.
Kevin Williams, MHROD, ACC, Managing Partner, FutureDecisions LLC
Kevin Williams has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in Fortune 100 companies. He held a variety of management positions in those organizations with significant experience in change management, strategic planning, marketing and customer support. Kevin successfully led several organizations through large-scale mergers, succession planning programs, acquisitions, and re-organizations.
Kevin is a Partner in FutureDecisions LLC, a company that provides cutting edge succession planning programs and workshops and consultation regarding generational issues in the workplace. In addition, Kevin is a certified professional coach through the International Coaching Federation. In addition, Kevin is the current president (2009) of the Sacramento Area Organization Development Network.
Kevin holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development, and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.
He and his business partner offer various workshops through such diverse agencies as CPS Human Resources Services and the Non-Profit Resource Center and have presented workshops for numerous organizations including the American Society on Aging Annual Conference in 2007 and 2008. Topics embrace such issues as managing the four generations in the workplace and workforce/succession planning. Clients include Kaiser Permanente, South Central Chief’s of Police Association of Connecticut, Catholic Healthcare West, the State of California and numerous public agencies, private companies and nonprofits. Kevin is the current president of the Sacramento Area Organization Development Network.
