As our faithful readers know we at FutureDecisions are focused on the Baby Boomer population. We ourselves are Baby Boomers and with 77 million of us out there it seems like a natural fit. Recently however, we have found ourselves assisting with younger folks in their 20’s, the so called Gen Y’rs. It seems that many of the issues that Baby Boomers face when they are making career transitions are the same ones facing this younger generation as they prepare to enter the workforce.Working with young people represents a whole new aspect to our business, one we find both challenging and rewarding. You may ask how this came about that we would find ourselves working with this younger generation, good question. The answer is simple, their parents are recognizing that the work we do with Baby Boomers is applicable to their children as well. Thus, the parents are referring their children to us and then footing the bill on top of it all!We share this information should you know of a young person who might benefit from our services.
